Birmingham-based specialist PR agency See Media has been nominated for three 2021 Public Relations and Communications Association Midlands (PRCA) Dare Awards.
For the second year running, the housing PR and communications agency is a finalist for the Charity/Not for Profit award for its work with Stonewater.
See Media scooped gold for this category in 2020 for supporting Stonewater with launching its own podcast series – On the Air.
This year, the pair have been recognised for a campaign aiming to raise awareness on tackling veteran homelessness, which achieved national and local, media, radio and television coverage.
In addition to this, See Media has also been shortlisted for Small Consultancy of the Year.
Despite the pandemic, See Media has led on a number of successful campaigns and won ten new clients, all operating across the housing sector, during the last 12 months.
To support its growth, the agency has expanded its team appointing its first apprentice through the PRCA scheme and implemented a paid internship programme.
See Media’s senior account manager Sara-Anne Mills-Bricknell, has also been nominated for Rising Star of the Year for her contributions to the PR industry. This includes chairing the CIPR podcast editorial board and mentoring See Media’s first intern.
“Being nominated for three DARE awards after navigating a challenging year and overcoming the barriers presented by COVID-19 is fantastic,” says Stuart Macdonald, managing director at See Media.
“As a team, we always strive to give the best to our clients and these nominations are evidence of the talent, creativity and determination that we have within the agency.
“I’m really proud of the team and looking forward to attending an in-person awards ceremony in June!”
