Housing communications agency, See Media, has won not one but three awards at the PRCA DARE Midlands Awards.
The PR agency, attending its first in-person industry awards as a team, is thrilled to have been announced as winner of the trio of awards at the PRCA Midlands Awards ceremony hosted at Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens on Monday night (27 June).
The team, which works fully remotely providing services for social housing clients across the UK, was thrilled to be named as Small Consultancy of the Year, as well as taking the Public Sector Campaign and Not-for-Profit award titles.
The PRCA DARE Awards seek out and reward the very best PR and communications professionals across the UK, with winners decided by a panel of highly respected industry experts across eight regions.
See Media was chosen as Small Consultancy of the Year for its continued success in delivering results for its housing sector clients, providing everything from podcasts to rebranding campaigns, whilst continuously growing the business year on year.
The judges also liked See Media’s approach to employee investment and flexibility; as a virtual agency it has no ‘office’ but uses hubs and hot-desking, providing a true work-life balance for colleagues and a flexible, customer-focussed service for clients.
The team scooped gold in the Public Sector Campaign category for their work as a branding consultant to Accord and GreenSquare during their merger, and the Not-for-Profit award title for their current George Blunden Public Art Prize campaign with Stonewater.
Sarah Thomas, who has over 20 years of PR and marketing experience, was also a finalist in the Professional of the Year category, in recognition of her outstanding performance on behalf of clients, significant contribution to the PR industry, and her innovation and creativity.
Stuart Macdonald, Managing Director at See Media, said: “As a team, we are hugely passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives and spreading the word of our amazing client’s work far and wide.
“We are obviously over the moon to be seen as leaders in our industry at the PRCA awards. To come away with three awards is truly fantastic, and testament to the work of the team, who are thoroughly deserving of this recognition.”
