2022 is proving to be a successful year for housing communications agency See Media. Off the back of three wins at June’s PRCA DARE Awards, we have now been shortlisted for four CIPR PRide Midlands Awards. These awards, which will be held virtually on 5 October celebrate the outstanding work carried out by PR agencies across the Midlands, from Leicestershire to Gloucestershire.
Two of our nominations, in the Not-for-profit Campaign and Low Budget Campaign categories, are for our work with our client and leading housing provider Stonewater on its George Blunden Public Art Prize.
The competition aimed to raise awareness of the social impact of public art on communities, inviting emerging and established artists to pitch their ideas for the chance to win £75,000 and five public art commissions. After receiving 47 entrants and 69 clippings across local, radio and trade media, the competition was deemed such a success that Stonewater now intends to run the prize annually.
Additionally, See Media is one of two agencies shortlisted for the Small Consultancy of the Year award. This follows our win in the same category in June’s PRCA DARE Awards, where the judging panel were particularly impressed by our range of services, continued business growth and flexible working arrangements.
The third nomination is for our Account Director, Sara-Anne Mills-Bricknell, in the Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year category. The award aims to showcase young PR professionals who make valuable contributions to their organisations and show substantial promise as leaders.
This nomination marks the second time recently Sara-Anne has been recognised for her potential, after she won the Rising Star of the Year at the PRCA DARE Midlands Awards in 2021. The judging panel described Sara-Anne, who is chair of the CIPR’s podcast board and has overseen See Media’s transformation into the housing sector’s leading podcast provider, as an ‘incredible talent’.
